The Yang Engineering Immunity Lab in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and the Broad Stem Cell Research Center at UCLA is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researcher in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The Yang Laboratory focuses on dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating tumor immunology and utilizing the knowledge to engineer immune cells against cancer. Being part of the UCLA/Caltech/USC/COH Engineering Immunity Consortium, the Yang Laboratory provides broad training and a highly collaborative environment for basic and translational cancer immunology research.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering or related field with extensive knowledge and experience in molecular biology, cell biology and animal study
- Strong research experience in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy (preferred)
- Ability to work indepdently and also in a group/collaborative environment
- Effective communications skills, self-motivated
