Event Description: Chronic respiratory diseases, such as COPD and asthma, cause significant morbidity and mortality, often exacerbated by difficulties in correctly diagnosing and treating disease in its early stages. This event will discuss environmental, lifestyle and genetic factors contributing to:

• disease development
• mechanisms underlying aberrant immunological responses
• methods for early and accurate diagnosis
• novel treatment and management strategies.

We encourage questions, discussion and debate and have a relaxed atmosphere which generates maximum interaction online.
