This post is available for up to two years and will join Dr Andriana Margariti’s stem cell biology research team within the Centre for Experimental Medicine. The successful candidate will work on a BHF-funded project based on induced pluripotent stem cells and RNA-binding proteins. Employing a broad range of cell and molecular biological approaches, the post holder will investigate the mechanisms of vascular cell differentiation and their function in vitro and in vivo assays. Complex in vitro and in vivo models will be used to assess the function of the differentiated cells in vascular repair.
