The successful candidate will analyse data produced using a novel sequencing approach to characterise germline mutation rates in livestock species.

Applicants with a background in any relevant field are welcome (including bioinformatics, statistics and computer science) but bioinformatics experience in handling high throughput sequencing data will be a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong programming skills in one or more relevant language such as Python, Perl or R.
