Nature Publishing Group is seeking an Accountant to assist the Accounting Manager with the preparation and analysis of monthly accounts and management reports.
Key tasks include month-end close (posting journal entries for relevant profit centers); balance sheet reconciliations; monthly variance analysis; key non-financial data analysis; preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with the preparation of re-forecast and budget.
Desired Skills and Experience:
·Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
·Working towards or qualified CPA is preferred
·2 plus years’ experience in public and/or corporate accounting
·Oracle and Hyperion experience would be preferred
·Advanced Excel skills
The successful candidate will be experienced in financial analysis and have strong communication skills in order to obtain and share relevant information with key business partners. The candidate must show the ability to prioritize and manage their work in a fast paced team environment.
