National Heart and Lung Institute
The National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI)’s main aims are to carry out research and education in Cardiovascular and Respiratory basic and clinical science. NHLI is committed to the development and delivery of excellent education and training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to the continuing professional development of its staff.
You will develop, manage and teach on the short courses, PGCert, PGDip and MSc programmes in Genomic Medicine. The post will support an excellent student experience and help NHLI’s academic and teaching staff to deliver a world-class education in Genomic Medicine.
You should have a BSc in genetics, genomics or other related subject and experience of successfully delivering teaching. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible and liaise with people at all levels.
Due to the nature of the role, the post involves periods of high activity with flexible working required.
The post will provide valuable experience for anyone wishing to pursue a university teaching career.
This post is full-time and fixed-term for three years; based at the Royal Brompton campus.
