Project Scientist position at Nanomedicine Research Center, at the Department of Neurosurgery, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, is currently open.
The applicant should have PhD and/or MD, PhD degrees with completion of postdoctoral appointment in area of specialization.
The candidate has to have experience in cancer biology and preclinical/clinical tumor treatment. The job will include studying the therapeutic properties and molecular biological mechanisms of new nanodrugs, which will be optimized for clinical efficacy to treat brain and breast tumors under the direction of Dr. Julia Ljubimova at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The candidate should know the basic principles of animal surgery, molecular, immunological and cell biology methods.
The projects are funded by multiple NIH/NCI, private and state foundation grants.
Salary is commensurate with the experience.
