Peer Review Week 2016

21 September 2016

It’s Peer Review Week! This year we are celebrating the role that reviewers play in the process and how important it is that we #RecognizeReview.

Many of the partners of Peer Review Week have illustrated how they #RecognizeReview and their commitment to improving that support.

We think peer review really matters, and there are lots of events over the week that you can get involved in, including talks and webinars. Follow the discussion using #PeerRevWk16.

For people who follow debates about science and medicine in the news, check out our guide I don’t know what to believe. It explains how scientists present and judge research and how you can ask questions of the scientific information presented to you.

For early career researchers, our Voice of Young Science network and peer review workshops are a great place to start. PhD students and post-docs may find our guide, Peer Review: the nuts & bolts helpful to find out about the process, its challenges and how to get involved.
