We seek a highly motivated and organised individual for the role of a Laboratory Technician in Chemical Biology (Protein Purification and Cell Culture). Reporting to the Chemical Biology Group Leader, the main responsibility of this Laboratory Technician is to perform and optimise recombinant protein expression and purification including cloning as well as maintenance of tissue culture cell lines. The expressed proteins will be used for biochemical characterisation, chemical screening and/or crystallisation experiments.

You must have a proactive and adaptable approach to work with good computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Excellent record keeping and careful methodological work skills are essential.
