Do you want to extend your skills and help us help transform the quality of NHS prenatal diagnostic and genetic services We are seeking an enthusiastic research counsellor, genetic associate or nurse to join our team of CRN-funded researchers based in the North East Thames Regional Genetics Service at Great Ormond Street. The team supports research into antenatal screening and genetics across the North Thames area and now plays a key role in the North Thames NHS Genomic Medicine Centre (NTGMC). NTGMC working with Genomics England, is a major contributor to the delivery of the UK’s genomics strategy.
If you are committed to contributing to a team delivering excellence in research into genetics, and serious about pursuing a rewarding career this is definitely the post for you. This Band 6 post is available immediately and will be for two years. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly, motivated multidisciplinary team working within a centre of excellence in central London. You will get experience in genetics and whilst gaining research skills as you recruit to a variety of research projects in genetics. You will also have the opportunity to explore patient and health professional views regarding the introduction of these new technologies into clinical service. This is an ideal opportunity to develop research skills and increase your knowledge and understanding of genetics.
